Latest NewsChange to Derby Team Racing format 29th March 2017 Seven teams for Derby Teams racing means format must change. Due to circumstances beyond our control (an entry has been lost in the post) we are changing the format for the Teams Derby racing due tothe fact that we now have seven teams. This of course means that the draw that had being done is now no good. The format now will be as follows: Team 1 vs Team 2 Each of these seven races will be eight laps and for points - 1st - 100 points, 2nd - 40 points, 3rd - 25 points, 4th - 20 points, 5th - 10 points The two highest points scoring teams will race in the final for first and second place over ten laps, first past the post wins. The next two highest points scoring teams will race for third and fourth over ten laps, first past the post wins. In the event that two teams are tied on points, a four lap run off with one car from each team will be held to determine which team proceeds to either the final, or the race for second and third. The draw will be done on the night by team captains. All cars must be in the pits by 4pm. Scrutineering will take place from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. Gear checking will take place in the big shed form 3:30pm to 5:00pm. Drivers Briefing will be at 5:30pm in the big shed.
