New World Hawera NZ Stockcar Grand Prix
2nd and 3rd February 2007

Stratford Speedway is hosting the New World Hawera NZ Stockcar Grand Prix on Friday the 2nd and Saturday the 3rd of February 2007.

On the Friday night the top 26 points scorers will be determined and they will go through to compete for the NZGP title on Saturday.

The next highest 26 points scorers will go through to compete for the Transpacific Industrial Solutions NZ Energy Coast Championship on Saturday.

Also racing on both nights will be Youth Ministocks competing for the Mountain Classic championship and on the Saturday night only Adult Ministocks as well will be appearing. All vistors welcome.

There is a practice on Thursday 1st Feb from 5pm to 7:30pm for those who wish to try out the track.
Scrutineering on Friday for all the cars is at the Stratford War Memorial Centre parking area from 9am to 3pm.

Racing starts at 7pm on both nights - a big crowd is expected so get to the track early. There will be a small charge of $2 to park your car in the track parking area - proceeds from this go to the Toko Lions Club who will provide security patrols.

Unfortunately the big screen that was previously advertised will not be there due to circumstances beyond our control.

Adults $20, Child (14 and under) $6, Family (2 adults and up to 4 children) $50, Child under 5 free
