Fireworks Spectacular, City of New Plymouth Classic for Stockcars, Saloons, Minisprints & Youth Ministocks.  (Double points for Saloons & Minisprints)

Opening night was rained off after five races and we are hoping for better weather this time around!  Six classes will race at this meeting and to top it all off, there will be a spectacular fireworks display where you will see thousands of dollars go up in smoke and a vast arange of colours.  The mega dollar Superstocks will be on hand and with full contact permitted and encouraged they are sure to delight.  These guys and girls don't need to pass cleanly, they just push their opposition out of the way!  Stockcars race to the same style and rules as the Superstocks, the cars a little less costly though and the drivers more aggressive.  Modifieds will impress with their big wings and high horse powered V8 engines while the Minisprints, that look simlar to the Modifieds but smaller and with a tail cone will be quick.  The saloons will front with a good field and the Youth Ministocks will turn up with large numbers and close racing.  So if you're looking for something to do on Saturday night, come along and spend a few hours at Taranaki's Action Attraction for value entertainment.  Gate prices are very reasonable and we are sure that you will have a good time.  It's probably still a bit chilly at this time of year so bringing blankets or jackets with you would be a good idea!
