Information for new drivers

Are you keen to swap sides of the fence and become a driver?

There can be a lot to get your head around if you are new to the sport  -  Licences, club memberships, green sheeting etc.  If you are a new competitor, your class rep should be one of the first people you call.  They will be able to answer any questions that you may have and guide you through the process of what you need to do. They also keep the number register for your class and will be able to tell you which numbers are available as you will need one!  

You will need to become a member of the Taranaki Stockcar Club before you can race or practice and you will also need a Speedway New Zealand licence.  Full competitor club membership is $150 and Youth competitor club membership is $62.50.   You will purchase your club membership and licencen online through the Speedway New Zealand website.

The Taranaki Stockcar Club has an Information Booklet that all competitors must read.  It contains information on club rules and how things work on race nights.
